What boosting is, how levels work, which perks it can unlock, and what to know before you order.
What is server boosting?
Discord lets members apply boosts to a server. Every boost counts toward the server's total, and when the total crosses certain thresholds the server moves up a boost level. Each level unlocks perks for every member.
Normally those boosts come from members paying for them individually. BST provides boosts in a single package, so your server can reach the level it needs without depending on its members.
More boosts, a higher server level, more perks for your community for as long as the boosts are active.
How levels work.
Discord currently uses three server levels. These are the boost counts needed to reach each one.

Emoji & stickers

Audio quality

Server branding
Animated icon, invite background and a server banner.
Uploads & streaming
Larger upload limits and higher-quality streams for members.
Role icons
Custom icons next to role names at higher levels.
Vanity invite
A custom invite link, at Level 3 for eligible servers.
Choosing a size.
Seven sizes from 2 to 30 boosts. Some match Discord's thresholds exactly; others leave headroom above them.
Already have boosts from members? Count them in. If you have 5 and want Level 2, a smaller package may be enough. Not sure? Ask the team first.

One-month duration
Every BST package lasts one month from delivery. When it ends, the boosts it provided stop counting toward your level unless you order again. Ask the team about continuing.
Important limitations
- BST is independent and not affiliated with Discord. Discord decides which perks each level unlocks and can change them at any time.
- Boosts are applied through Discord accounts and remain subject to Discord's systems and policies. Ask the team before you order if you have questions about what happens if a boost stops counting.
- Your server and its use must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Delivery is arranged with the team in Discord. We don't promise instant delivery.
- Some perks, such as a vanity URL, have extra eligibility rules set by Discord.
